United Furniture Warehouse Returns to Bellingham

United Furniture Warehouse, a Canadian company, has announced its plan to reopen a location in Bellingham, Washington.  United Furniture Warehouse had a store in Bellingham for over 12 years, but closed it in 2003 at the same time it closed its other U.S. locations.  The new store is planned for a new retail center on Meridian Street across from Wal-Mart.  The store will consist of approximately 19,000 square feet.  No word on if this is part of a larger expansion plan back into the U.S. market.
